CHILDREN'S LITERATURE

Overview of Montessori's ideas about appropriate literature for early childhood and how this affects the choice of literature used in the classroom.  Literature resources and examples of beautiful books, the introduction of books, care of books lessons for children.  This seminar will consist mainly of presenting, demonstrating, and explaining materials and techniques. It will include examples of books; models and other resources; tools and materials; as well as printed handouts of bibliographical and source information.
